BillMeister for education

From financial education to everyday money skills.

Connect what students learn with what they do every day. We are developing a teacher platform for practical financial education, with the BillMeister app as a personal companion beyond the classroom.

A teacher guides students working on a classroom assignment on their phones.

Start with the life your students recognise

Make money tangible when students take on new responsibilities.

A first bill of their own

A phone subscription, insurance or study expense: what repeats, when is it due and how do you keep track?

Studying and moving out

Rent, groceries and recurring expenses come together. Use familiar situations to explore the choices.

From knowledge to a habit

A useful conversation is a beginning. Small, practical actions help students continue independently.

For the teacher

A clear starting point for each money lesson

We are developing one organised place for lesson resources, teacher guidance and student activities. With founding institutions, we agree which parts will be available when their pilot starts.

Teacher platform in development

  • Prepare with a clear purpose

Choose a topic and use its explanations, activities and teacher guidance.

  • Practise with familiar situations

Explore an example together without asking students to disclose their own finances.

  • Understand participation

The planned pilot reporting covers named lesson completion for authorised teachers and group insights for the institution.

For the student

Keep going independently, beyond the lesson

The BillMeister app helps students keep track of their own bills, due dates and reminders. They choose what to add and what they want to discuss.

Companion app available

  • See what is coming

Bring recurring expenses and due dates together in a personal overview.

  • Turn a small step into practice

Add a bill, set a reminder or see what still needs attention this month.

  • Keep personal finances private

Teachers and institutions cannot access bills, amounts, reminders or other personal app activity.

How one lesson can carry into daily life

Example lesson: recurring expenses. An illustration of the planned approach; lesson content is agreed for each pilot.

01 · Prepare

The teacher selects a topic and prepares a familiar scenario using the planned teaching resources.

02 · Practise together

Students explore due dates and choices in the scenario. Nobody needs to share personal amounts.

03 · Continue independently

Students can choose a personal next step, such as organising a bill or setting a reminder in the app.

04 · Reflect

The teacher reviews completion of learning activities. Group insights and feedback help the institution assess the approach.

Value across the teaching experience

One approach, with a clear role for everyone.

Teachers

A planned structure for preparation, explanation and activities, with support throughout the pilot.

Students

Relevant practice for everyday life, with room for personal choices and privacy.

Programme leaders

Participation, lesson completion and experience insights to inform a decision about continuing.

Understand learning. Keep personal finances private.

Planned reporting shows which learning activities a student has completed. Only authorised teachers receive the named progress relevant to their group. The institution receives group insights and evaluation feedback.

This does not provide access to personal bills, amounts, reminders or activity in the companion app. Available reporting, access rights and participation arrangements are agreed before the pilot. Additional arrangements are made with the institution for students aged 16–17.

Start with a supported founding pilot

For 50–150 students aged 16+. An agreed duration, with onboarding, support and evaluation. Founding pilots from €7,000 incl. VAT. Explore the pilot and book a demo.
